About Me
Hi, I’m Alan Pineda—born and raised in Mexico, where my love for storytelling began. When I was about 10 years old, my father handed me a Nikon N2020 film camera. Little did I know, that small moment would spark a lifelong passion. I couldn’t afford my own camera back then, but that dream stayed alive in me. Years later, after moving to Texas and working tirelessly, I finally bought my first DSLR. That was the beginning of an unforgettable journey.
Photography opened up a world of possibilities. I’ve had the privilege of working with over 20 business owners from more than 10 countries. From capturing the magic of weddings to documenting international competitions, creating website content, mobile app visuals, and even imagery for literature—I’ve helped people showcase their best to the world. There’s nothing more fulfilling than turning someone’s vision into a picture that speaks louder than words.
Then life took an unexpected turn. I was offered a role as a product manager—a field I had no experience in at the time. It was intimidating, but I dove in headfirst, pouring hours into research, taking crash courses, and asking endless questions. Before long, I was leading a team of 15 talented professionals, from UX designers to cloud engineers. Together, we built and launched an MVP in just 3 months, and a complete product 3 months after that. Today, that product serves over 50,000 users—and growing.
But my journey didn’t stop there. After a year of working on the mobile app, I wanted to make an even greater impact. That curiosity and drive led me to create a new role in the company dedicated to managing the local royalty program. My mission is to create value for our users while driving revenue for the business—a balance I find deeply rewarding.
Through it all, I’ve learned that growth comes from embracing new challenges, leaning into discomfort, and staying connected to the stories that inspire us. Every step of this journey has shaped who I am today, and I’m excited for what’s next.
I'm a husband, a dad, a photographer, and a product manager.
